(Balance Me Yoga is located on the backside of the building where Top Drawer Consignment and Bebalanced Hormone Therapy are located. The door will be locked at the beginning of each class, arrive at least 5 minutes early.
BALANCE ME YOGA
Balance Me Yoga was created with the mindset that yoga will balance all things in your life, your body, mind and spirit. Yoga is for everybody and every body. At Balance Me Yoga all of our classes are taught to all levels, we want everyone to feel that yoga is accessible to all bodies. We are a smaller studio with intentional smaller class sizes so everyone feels comfortable and welcome the second they walk through our doors.
We offer Vinyasa Yoga, Gentle Slow Yoga, Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga. We also offer private yoga sessions as well Ayurveda Health Counseling (learning to heal yourself from within), Reiki Sessions (balance your subtle body energy) or Thai Yoga bodywork (lazy man's yoga). Our space is also available for private functions. Please call or email to inquire.
In addition to yoga, we now offer Zumba Fitness every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 p.m. with special events to be scheduled on weekends.

Join Carla as she leads you through a series of gentle fully supportive poses in this luxurious restorative yoga class. This class is great for deep meditation, relaxation and connection to your body. This class will use sound therapy throughout to enhance the vibrational experience naturally in our bodies. Carla will also offer Reiki throughout the class, this is a balancing of our subtle body energy for the overall feeling of peace. Appropriate for everyone, no yoga experience necessary.

Bring your physical practice internal with a darkened room, feel how your body moves without the distraction of light. We will flow very gently and slowly to tune into our bodies and more importantly our minds. This class will end with an extended savasana with guided meditation. During this workshop, you will learn ways to use yoga props in your active vinyasa practice as well as restorative yoga by incorporating yoga props - blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters.
Carla will assist you in learning how to use your props to achieve alignment in your body that feels better by creating space. This practice will help create better body awareness and calmness of mind as you feel more comfortable in your practice. This class will teach you how to make poses more accessible and easier in your body.
This class is for the yoga student as well as yoga teachers seeking deeper understanding to make poses accessible to students.
Carla is a 200 E-RYT and 500 E-RYT. She enjoys teaching classes with a heavy use of props and loves seeing students feel confident in their yoga practice utilizing props. She believes yoga should be accessible for every body.

Ayurveda, is the sister science to Yoga. Through her teacher training Carla was introduced to Ayurveda and how this ancient science is still practiced today. Her fascination and wanting to learn more, led Carla to pursue her certification as an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist and Ayurveda Health Counselor certification through the Himalayan Institute with Kathryn Templeton. Carla shares this ancient science of natural medicine along with the practice of Yoga to assist others. Carla offers Ayurvedic Lifestyle 101 consultations to identify your inbalance (vikrutti) and present a unique to you, lifestyle plan to bring your body back into a state of balance incorporating Ayurveda practices with both yoga and breath work along with meditation and most importantly introduction of specific tastes, foods and spices to help achieve overall well-being of body, mind and spirit.
Carla leads workshops on the importance to finding your balanced constitution and living your best life possible.

Thai Yoga Body Work
Thai Yoga is also known as “lazy man’s yoga.” Thai Yoga Bodywork is an ancient healing system that combines broad and targeted acupressure, stimulation and manipulation of energy lines called "sen", and assisted yoga postures. Treatment effects are enhanced when the patient is fully relaxed and breathing deeply. Sessions are one hour or one and a half hours, schedule yours with Carla today.

Carla is a Level II Reiki, she uses your natural body energy to assist in finding balance of your unique subtle body energy. Carla uses her own energy to assist in this practice as well as use of crystals and essential oils.

Reiki Level I Training - This course is specially scheduled when we reach the minimum number of participants. Please message your interest and we'll coordinate the training.
This course covers traditional and contemporary Usui Reiki, plus an overview of the chakra system. The class includes your first Reiki attunement, practice giving and receiving hands-on treatment for yourself and for others, personal training, and the history and theory of Reiki.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.
This is an all day training with a break for lunch. You may bring a snack but we do not have a refrigerator or ability for cooking. Water and tea are available.
You will receive a manual and Reiki I certificate.
Balance Me Yoga offers private individual yoga sessions specialized to your needs. We meet for at least two hours the first session to dig deep into what is going on with your body and mind and develop a plan just for you. We also offer special private group sessions for a special event, business, team building, whatever your yoga needs may be, feel free to ask and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
